Tecumseh OH160 and Onan bfms 2979c were the two engines used in this tractor. Tecumseh & Onan no longer make a replacement engine or shortblock for this. If your engine is not currently an Tecumseh, then none of this will apply to you. The engine in this tractor is mounted with the shaft out the right side instead of out the front like most larger tractors.
