Original engine has a 1" x 3-5/32" shaft. You may have to use minor parts off of your engine if you buy one without the same spec number. If you purchase an engine with the large canister style air breather, you may have to use the old filter of the old engine to fit this application. If you use one of the recoil start engines you would have to use your flywheel, electric starter, alternator and regulator of the old engine.
