The original shaft is 1-3/8" diameter while the only option we have is 1-1/8" diameter. You could put a bronze sleeve and keyway on the shaft to make up the difference. Also the exhaust port on 10-14hp Kohler engines is 1", the port on a 16hp is 1-1/4". Finally, you may have to change the oil pan if your oil pan because of the oil drain style.
