Residential delivery charges apply to a non-business address from nearly every shipping company. The charges vary from $3 for packages shipped by DHL, FedEx and UPS, to as much as $30 for larger truck shipments. A business address must have a sign visible from the road, a loading dock, and open to walk-in traffic so that no appointment or prior delivery notification is required. Home-based businesses like most landscapers and farms are considered residential locations.

Items listed with Free Shipping will include free regular commercial ground service, by our choice of carriers, and only to the 48 continental United States. Any residential delivery fee or rural surcharge would still apply.

Items listed with Freight Credit will include freight charges discounted by the listed amount. Any excess freight credit cannot be applied to the item charges or the residential delivery fee.

We cannot ship on weekends and we do not offer Saturday, Sunday or holiday delivery.

Service days listed are for the shipping company only, and do not include order processing time. The order processing time includes the order entry, payment authorization, and picking and packing the item. For items that are in stock, we process 98% of our orders within one business day. We do not offer a processing time guarantee.

Truck shipments require a delivery signature. If a semi-truck cannot deliver to your address, then choose an alternate address that is more accessible. The semi driver is responsible only to get the item to the back of the truck. You are responsible for inspecting and unloading. Shipping charges do not include accessorial charges like INSIDE DELIVERY, LIFTGATE, or LIMITED ACCESS deliveries (schools, churches, constructions sites, etc.). Charges for these services that you request will be collected directly from the freight company.

There is a 15% restocking charge for all items returned. Items must be returned freight pre-paid within 15 days with a return authorization number.

Only engines that have not been filled with oil or gasoline are eligible for return.

Drop shipped items can not be returned.

Shipping costs are not covered by any warranty.

Most new items carry a manufacturer's warranty which can be repaired by any authorized dealer. A manufacturer's warranty is not a money-back guarantee. Standard warranty coverage is to repair or replace, free of charge, any parts that are defective in material or workmanship. Contact any local Authorized Dealer for warranty service, since no transportation charges are included in the coverage. Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty coverage. The sales receipt indicates the purchase date which starts the warranty period.

"Scratch & Dent" engines are brand new. A typical scratch and dent engine was purchased without its original box, and has much more handling than most engines. Many of these are old stock, and may have some shaft surface rust from the extended inventory period. These may have minor cosmetic dings and paint scratches, but nothing that will affect the operation of the unit. These may have been removed from new equipment and possibly started to assure their operation before being sold. These are new engines, not previously sold, with full manufacturer's warranty.

"Factory Serviced" means that the unit has been serviced by the original manufacturer, after being returned for one of a variety of reasons:
• Unit was missing parts when received by the store.
• Unit had scratches or dents on unit when received by the store, and may come with scratches or dents, with paint possibly faded or flaking.
• Unit was purchased by a consumer and didn't work right away and they returned it to the store. The store then returned the unit to the factory.
• Unit is actually new, but factory decides to discount the unit and labels them as Factory Serviced without a warranty.
• Warranty on this unit (pressure washer pump or generator) is from Small Engine Warehouse and covers defects in material and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date on the invoice.
• Warranty on the engine is from the manufacturer and depending on model is either 1 or 2 years, covers defects in material and workmanship, service on engine can be obtained from any Factory Authorized Service Center.
• These are not brand new. Every unit has been ran.

"Take-Off" engines are not brand new. They normally have run time on the engine of several hours. A typical take-off engine was removed from a non-working pressure washer or generator. All take-off engines are started, run, and repaired (if necessary) by us. The warranty is from us, not the manufacturer, for a period of 30 days from the date on the invoice.
